Iran Hormone Pharmaceutical Company, a subsidiary of Nophico — the largest private pharmaceutical holding in Iran — has nearly 70 years of experience in the industry. Iran Hormone was founded more than 60 years ago, in 1963 (1342 in the Persian calendar), under the name Iran Organon. It is one of the most important producers of hormonal medicines in Iran, including drugs affecting the thyroid gland, hormone-based anticancer drugs, sex hormones, infertility treatments, as well as cardiovascular medicines, antihypertensives, antidiabetics, corticosteroids, muscle relaxants, and vitamins. In 1981 (1360), Iran Organon was renamed Iran Hormone Pharmaceutical Company.

Given that rigorous and diverse quality control measures are among the most critical pillars in pharmaceutical production, the company has achieved this goal by employing skilled and experienced personnel, establishing a quality assurance unit, and utilizing advanced pharmaceutical machinery and equipment. Quality controls begin from raw materials and continue throughout the entire production process. One of the most notable advantages of Iran Hormone is the presence of its quality control laboratory and its research and innovation unit within the factory. Currently, the factory’s quality control laboratory has been certified by the Iranian Ministry of Health as an accredited reference laboratory for various tests and bioequivalence studies.
