The company is built on a land area of 9,681 square meters and includes production departments, quality control laboratories, information technology, research, engineering, warehouses, administration and finance, sales, and more. In 1985, Messin was renamed Tehran Darou Pharmaceutical Company.

In 2012, Tehran Darou Pharmaceutical Company obtained GMP certification. The company produces solid dosage forms including capsules, tablets, and soft gels.
